My name is Helen Bower, and I am acting President of the Women’s Food and Farming Union.

Positive, pro-active and determined, WFU members are from all ages and backgrounds, linked by common aims and objectives with the purpose of promoting the Best of British Agriculture. In order to achieve this we have to ensure that our producers are the best and that consumers are aware of this, hence the slogan
 “ Linking Producer and Consumer.” We research our subject; point producers to consumer concerns and through our Education Initiatives explain production methods and techniques.

Formed in 1979, WFU continues to promote, support and present all that is best in British Agriculture.
